Deadholt is set in a brutal, post-apocalyptic universe where, after a small asteroid impacts Earth, a strange invasive alien species is introduced to our planet. Taking the shape of a colossal planet-wide forest, now called "The Holt", this species knocks humans down from the top of the food chain, making them retreat behind the walls of cold, rusty metallic settlements.

In Deadholt, you play as a Guide. A veteran of the Holt's tireless threats. Your objective is to gather the most currency (Metal Scrap) by safely escorting batches of clients to their desired settlements, selling the valuable loot you find along the way and by facing ravenous mutated beasts...all while fighting off other guides who are trying to beat you to it!

The game is asymmetric and highly interactive. It mixes strategy with a dose of luck to keep things fresh and exciting, while strongly enforcing player agency instead of completely taking it away. The game's systems and the number of variables at play will provide an endlessly replayable experience each time you and your group pick it up.

The main focus with Deadholt is creating an intriguing and immersive experience for players by blending flavor with the mechanics of the game.
